The Headset and Helmet Adaptor
📌 Why Correct Wear Matters
Wearing the SoterCoach device correctly ensures accurate movement tracking and effective real-time feedback. Improper placement can reduce the device's effectiveness and compromise data quality.
🧍 Spine Program – Shirt or Safety Vest
- Placement: Clip the device onto the midline of the back collar.
- Orientation: The button should face outwards.
- Clothing Tip: Avoid loose or baggy shirts. They may cause the device to hang away from the body, reducing accuracy.
- Best Practice: Use snug, stable fabric like a t-shirt or high-vis vest.
💪 Shoulder Program – Armband
- Placement: Worn between the shoulder and elbow on the dominant arm, unless the non-dominant arm is more active in the worker's role.
- Orientation:
- Device button facing outwards
- USB charging port facing down
- Consistency: Wear on the same arm each day for consistent data.
🎧 Headset Adaptor (Optional)
- Clip the device firmly onto the headset, ensuring a secure fit.
- Ideal for roles where shoulder or spine clips aren't feasible but headset use is constant.
⛑ Helmet Adaptor (Optional)
- Place the Velcro pad provided on the back midline of each helmet.
- Apply pressure to all areas of the Velcro — especially the corners.
- Snap the device into the adaptor, then press the combined unit firmly against the Velcro to secure it.
