The SoterCoach App
What Is the SoterCoach App?
The SoterCoach mobile app gives workers access to:
- Real-time progress tracking
- Daily tutorials on safe body mechanics
- A convenient alternative to the Hub — especially for remote or traveling teams
Downloading and Setting Up the App
If your team is using the app instead of the hub, workers should:
- Download the app from the App Store or Google Play
- Sign up using an email address
- Enable Bluetooth on their smartphone
- Scan the QR code on the back of the SoterCoach device
- Select a program (Spine or Shoulder)
Syncing Progress
- At the end of each session, the app will sync data directly to the Soter Dashboard
- The device remains assigned to the worker for the entire program
- A new session starts automatically once the device is worn and movement is detected
When to Use the App Instead of the Hub
The mobile app is recommended as the primary method only when:
- Workers do not start or end their shift in a central location
- You have traveling employees or distributed teams
Mobile App as a Hub Add-On
If you're using the Hub as the primary tool, workers can also use the app to:
- Monitor their progress on their personal phone
- Access tutorials and results independently
To link the app to their Hub profile:
- Select the option "Get the mobile app" on the Hub
- Scan the QR code provided by the Hub on their phone
This ensures no duplicate profile is created.
Avoid Duplicate Profiles
If a worker is already active through the Hub and signs up in the app without linking it, a duplicate account will be created. Always use the Hub QR method to sync.
