🌐 Does the SoterCoach Hub Need Wi-Fi?

No — the Hub is connected via SIM card by default and does not require Wi-Fi for regular operation.

However, if your site has poor cellular coverage, you can connect the Hub to a Wi-Fi network to ensure faster and more reliable data sync.

📶 How to Connect the Hub to Wi-Fi

  1. Swipe up on the tablet screen to open settings.
  2. Tap "Wi-Fi connection."
  3. Select your network.
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi password and tap Connect.
  5. Press the back arrow on the bottom of the screen.
  6. Tap the SoterCoach Hub app to return to the main interface.

👥 Duplicate Worker Profiles (and How to Fix Them)

Sometimes you may see two profiles for the same worker.

This usually happens when:

  • A worker mistypes their login during check-in, creating a duplicate.

To resolve this:

Email help@soteranalytics.com and include:

  • The names of the two profiles to merge
  • Any relevant context

Soter support will take care of the rest.

🔇 If a Device Isn't Beeping

Here's what to check:

✅ Was the device scanned at shift start?If not, it won't activate.
✅ Is it the first day of the program?Feedback starts on day 2.
✅ Is it charged?Hold the button for 2 seconds:
- 1 beep = 25%
- 2 = 50%
- 3 = 75%
- 4 = 100%
🔄 Still not working?Hold the button for 40 seconds to restart. Wait for the startup melody.
