How to Restart a SoterCoach Device

Restarting the device can help resolve common issues related to responsiveness, feedback, or charging. Follow the steps below to perform a full reset.

✅ When to Restart a Device

You should restart a SoterCoach device if:

  • The device is not beeping or vibrating, even during risky movements
  • The device did not start automatically at the beginning of the shift
  • The device shows no battery response (no beeps when button is pressed or when charging)
  • The device was scanned, but no session appears in the dashboard
  • The device appears to be frozen or unresponsive
  • The device is continuously beeping or making unexpected sounds

🔁 How to Perform a Full Restart

  1. Charge the device in the Hub for at least 2 minutes
  2. Disconnect the device from the Hub
  3. Press and hold the device button
  4. While holding the button, reconnect the device to the Hub (USB port down)
  5. Keep holding the button for 45 seconds
  6. Release the button
  7. Wait 30 seconds — the device should restart and play a startup sound
