Preventing Duplicate Worker Profiles

Purpose:

Duplicate profiles in the dashboard can lead to inaccurate data, user confusion, and reporting errors. This guide explains how duplicates happen and how to prevent them.

❌ How Duplicate Profiles Are Created

Duplicates are usually caused when:

  • A worker mistypes their login during check-in at the Hub
  • A worker registers directly in the mobile app without linking from the Hub
  • A login ID is edited in the dashboard, but the old QR code is still in use

✅ How to Prevent Duplicate Profiles

Using the HubMake sure workers scan their correct QR code or use the correct login ID. Avoid typos.
Using the Mobile AppWorkers must scan the QR code from the Hub to link accounts. Never create a new account manually.
Edited Login IDsIf a login is changed in the dashboard, generate and distribute a new QR code immediately.
