Locking a dashboard
Once your dashboard looks the way you want, lock its design. Locking stops the layout, charts and theme from being changed by accident, by you or by SoterAI, while the data keeps updating. It's especially useful for dashboards you rely on for a long time, such as one on a team screen or in a regular review.
Lock the design
Click the padlock (Lock design) in the dashboard's header, or open the card's ⋯ menu on the Dashboards page and click Lock design. The design locks straight away and a Locked label appears next to the title.
Hover over the padlock to see a reminder: Layout and theme are frozen; data keeps refreshing. Only the author can unlock.
SoterAI can't lock or unlock a dashboard itself. You always do this yourself.
What locking does

If you ask SoterAI to change the design of a locked dashboard, it explains that the dashboard is locked and leaves it unchanged.
Unlock the design
Click the padlock again (Unlock design), click Locked on the dashboard's card, or choose Unlock design from the card's ⋯ menu. Make your changes through the chat, then lock it again. Only the dashboard's author can lock or unlock it.
Things to know
Locking doesn't freeze the data

Locking isn't about who can edit
Only the author can change a dashboard, whether it's locked or not.
Locking and unlocking count as updates
The dashboard's “Updated” time changes.
