Configuring your Personal Profile settings

Welcome to the SoterAI onboarding module on how to update your profile settings. In this video, we'll show you how to personalise SoterAI so it works better for you from day one.

Your profile settings play an important role in how SoterAI supports you. By tailoring these settings, you help the platform understand who you are, how you work, and the type of insights that are most valuable to you.

To get started, select your name in the bottom left corner of the platform and open your profile settings.

Profile & Background Information

From here, you can update basic details such as your profile picture and name. More importantly, you'll see a section for background information. This is where you can share details about your role, responsibilities, or professional background. Adding this context helps SoterAI tailor its responses so they align with your day-to-day work and decision-making needs.

You can also add key performance indicators. These describe what success looks like in your role, such as improving safety outcomes, reducing incidents, or conducting regular compliance audits. The more context you provide here, the better SoterAI can prioritise insights and recommendations that matter to you.

Communication & Notification Preferences

Next, you can customise how SoterAI communicates with you. You can choose the length of responses, whether you prefer concise answers or more comprehensive, detailed reports.

You can also set the level of technical detail. If you prefer simple, plain-English explanations, you can select a minimal setting. If you're comfortable with advanced terminology and in-depth analysis, you can choose a higher level of detail. This ensures SoterAI speaks your language.

You'll also find notification settings, where you can control how and when you're alerted to activity within the platform, both in-app and via email.

Finally, you can update your email address and configure multi-factor authentication for added security when accessing the system.

By taking a few minutes to update your profile settings, you help SoterAI deliver more relevant insights, clearer communication, and a more personalised experience overall.
