Choosing which notifications you receive

You decide which notifications reach you and how. Each category can arrive in the app, by email, both ways, or not at all.

Opening your notification settings

Open Profile Settings from the sidebar and scroll to Notification Settings. The controls are in the Notification preferences card. You can also get there from the settings link in the footer of any notification email.

Your choices apply to you personally and follow you everywhere — across every organisation and every workspace you belong to. Nobody else's settings change, and an administrator cannot set them on your behalf.

The notification grid

The card shows one row per notification category and one column per channel, with a toggle in each cell:

Every toggle is on for a new account. Changes save immediately — there is no Save button to press.

The top row of the card, labelled Notification, carries a master toggle for each channel. Switching the Email master off turns email off for all four categories at once; the In-app master does the same for in-app. Use them as a shortcut, then adjust individual rows underneath.

Turning everything off

You can switch off every toggle in the card. There is no requirement to keep at least one channel active. If you do this, you will still see Actions and shared workflows in SoterAI itself — you simply will not be told about them.

What these settings do not cover

Two things sit outside this card:

• Scheduled workflow runs. Each schedule carries its own notification settings, so you can be told about one workflow and not another. A line under the grid reminds you of this and points at the workflow's Set schedule dialog.
• Invitations, credit warnings and workspace-wide messages from SoterAI. These continue as before and are not part of the four categories.
