Managing Your Plan
This article explains how to change your SoterAI plan, adjust seat counts, or cancel your subscription.
Changing Your Plan (Upgrade or Downgrade)
- Go to Other Settings → Billing in the left nav.
- Under Your Plan, click Change Plan.
- Select the desired edition (Starter/Insurance or Enterprise).
- Adjust your seat count as needed.
- Review the prorated cost for the remainder of your billing cycle and confirm.
- Upgrading: New features (e.g. Data Sources, Risk Intelligence) become available immediately.
- Downgrading: If you move to a lower edition, Pro-only features will be disabled at the end of the current billing period.
For Enterprise plan changes or negotiated volume discounts, contact your SoterAI representative or email help@soteranalytics.com.
Adjusting Seat Counts
- Add Seats: Increase your seat count at any time; charges are prorated to the day.
- Remove Seats: Decrease seats before the next billing date to avoid charges; removed seats become unavailable immediately.
- View Usage: Seat utilization details appear in the Billing screen under Active Seats.
Cancellation & Data Retention
- In Billing, click Cancel Subscription.
- Confirm your cancellation—your account will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- After the billing period ends, your organization reverts to the free Starter plan (with Starter features and no seat charges).
Data Retention: Your workspace data (chats, workflows, documents, risk scenarios) is retained for 90 days after cancellation. You can re-activate your paid plan at any time during this window to restore full access.
